My base was bare floor and torches.
So I added furniture: six styles, eight pieces each. Mix different pieces near the Hearth and you get Rested.
Wearing two armor pieces now gives a partial set bonus. Jewelry has its own sets.
And enemies stopped piling into one point. They spread out and surround you.
